   Our Activities

We currently visit hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, schools and libraries.

At Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois we visit the fifth floor psych units, the sixth floor rehab units, and the seventh floor oncology units.  At the Veterans home in Manteno, Illinois we see the whole building from the Alzheimer’s unit to rehab. At Alden Prairie Gardens in Orland Park, Illinois we see all units from rehab to the Alzheimer’s unit.

Hospice visits are for the patient as well as support for the family members involved.

At the Grade schools we visit we work with school social workers with special needs populations as well as reading resource helping troubled readers. At the libraries we work with the children’s specialists and help the kids with reading in a library setting.

It is also in these settings that we provide presentations on dogs and pet safety. Dog safety and education is an important part of our training and something that we stress when we are out in public.

We provide comfort, therapy, and education to various populations in various settings.
