Our Dogs

 Our dogs all have to pass an evaluation that tests the team’s ability to work together and the dog’s behavior when challenged out in public settings while visiting with a variety of populations. The dogs are required to have a physical and vaccinations each year as a part of their continued membership in the Touch of Heeling Therapy Dogs.

 Each dog belongs to the handler that brings him or her to the visiting site. It is the club and handler’s responsibility to maintain constant training of the dog as well as monitoring the dog’s health and well-being. All of the dogs are members of their handler’s family and participate in many classes and seminars throughout the year
